Checklist for SysAdmins when joining and leaving


  1. Disable/delete the VPN Login.

  2. Reset Plesk passwords for Linux shared hosting servers

  3. Reset Plesk/ RDP passwords for Windows servers for client servers OR

  4. Reset Linux VPS and Dedicated VM SSH passwords as required

  5. Remove Ezlogin user access and update Plesk linux logins and SSH access through Ezlogin portal

  6. Delete login from WHMCS

  7. Delete login from Helpdesk

  8. Delete email id and setup redirection if required

  9. Change gmail pwd for diadem.support@gmail.com

  10. Remove access to shared google docs file

  11. Delete KB login for user

  12. Delete PVA login for user

  13. Remove CDP Access

  14. Webmin password for support login to be reset.

  15. Parallels support login to be reset.

  16. Phone number to be handed over to the new admin

  17. OBMS RDP Password reset

  18. Reset WIFI and Broadband access login passwords

  19. Hardware IPMI Access password to be reset


When adding new support staff following logins are to be created: 

  • Email id

  • WHMCS

  • Helpdesk

  • Knowledge base

  • PVA login with restricted access

  • Create and configure email ids

  • Setup Password Agent, SSH application

  • Dump Parallels ebooks and other study guide for windows or linux

-         Updates to be made by other sysadmins: 

  • Set Plesk passwords (all shared servers and client servers which were managed by staff)

o   Inform the client with the new plesk admin passwords

o   Update our SM module with the new passwords

  • Reset RDP Admin passwords for windows servers (shared and client servers managed by staff)

o   Inform the client with the new RDP passwords

o   Update SL with the new rdp passwords
