Creating / Deleting an Email Alias in Plesk

Objective: This article demonstrates the process to Create or Delete an Email Alias (another name for the email address) for a particular email account.

  

Create Email Alias    

  1. Visit the URL http://<your_domain>:8880 or https://<your_domain>:8443 (For SSL) and login.

     

  1. Select the Mail tab and click on the email address to create it's alias.

    

  1. Click on Email Alias tab.

    

  1. Assign a user name to aliased in the Email Alias input box. Click on OK button.

    

  1. You are done. your email alias has been created.

  

       

Delete Email Alias

  1. Visit the URL http://<your_domain>:8880 or https://<your_domain>:8443 (For SSL) and login.

    

  1. Select the Mail tab and click on the email address to delete it's alias.

    

  1. Click on the Email Alias tab.

    

  1. Remove the alias name. Click on OK button.

   

  1. You are done. Your email alias has been deleted.
