Preventing Incoming Mail From Being Marked as Spam

Issue : A customer is encountering a problem where legitimate emails from domains such as xiaomi.com are being incorrectly labeled as spam and are being routed to the junk folder.

Sometimes, legitimate mail may be rejected or marked as spam. If you are facing repeated situations where legitimate mail from certain domain gets rejected or marked as spam, you can whitelist domain as per requirements.

To stop SpamAssassin from scanning mail from specific domains, add them to the SpamAssassin white list.

Step 1 : Log-in to Plesk

Step 2 : Go to Tools & Settings, and then click Spam Filter (under “Mail”)

Step 3 : Go to the “White List” tab.

Step 4 : Click Add Address.

Step 5 : Select the “From a list” radio button and enter domain, and then click Save.

Mail from the added domains will no longer be scanned by SpamAssassin.
