Reset Plesk Demo Control Panel Login

In order to reset the login details periodically for the demo control panel, the bset option would be to restore the demo domains and client logins through the Plesk Backup/Restore Command Line Utility.

For Linux Server

Login to shell as root user.

# cd /backup/pdemo/

For Backup run:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskbackup clients-name pdemo --verbose --split=900M --output-file=pdemo.bak

For restore the backup run:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --restore pdemo.bak -level clients -verbose


For Windows Server

Login through RDP and open command prompt.

For Backup run:

C:\> C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\bin\pleskbackup.exe --clients-name pdemo --verbose --split=900M --output-file=D:\Backup\pdemo\pdemo.bak

For restore the backup run:

C:\> C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\bin\ pleskrestore.exe --restore D:\Backup\pdemo\pdemo.bak -level clients -verbose
